Defining Me (Self-Esteem/Character Building): During this workshop participants are presented with concepts related to the significance of how people define ourselves; build upon their social support system; understand how behaviors impact thoughts and emotions and learn about Self-Esteem – what it means, why it’s important, what shapes it and how to build it.

Brown, MS, MSW, NCC, LCPC believe and communicate to individuals, groups and churches as they share information and encouragement designed to help persons navigate through a journey everyone faces during their lives – the journey of loss. Using words and music, they share tools and techniques that can be used to support individuals, communities and organizations as they create a “new normal” following a loss. Grief is the normal and natural reaction to significant emotional loss of any kind. While you can never compare losses, death and divorce are often recognized as obvious painful losses. But Grief Care Seminars discuss many others including retirement, moving, loss of a job or career change, major financial challenges and health issues. Life can be painful. We must acknowledge, feel and deal with this pain to move on.
